Before reshaping, our office requires an X-ray to be done on the desired area. Dr. Wong will then lay out what can and cannot be achieved via tooth contouring.

By lightening your teeth a few shades, you will immediately see tangible results, depending on the method chosen. This simple procedure is not only affordable but one of the easiest things you can do to improve the appearance of your smile.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges seek to replace missing gaps in your smile, by fusing an artificial tooth, usually comprised of porcelain, to the immediately adjacent teeth. This is less invasive and much cheaper than dental implants and is specifically rendered to match the color and texture of your smile. Our office will work tirelessly to ensure that your teeth look indistinguishable and uniform.

Gum Lifting

Gum lifting does not involve the teeth, and instead targets the gum line. Individuals with too much gum covering their teeth can feel as if their teeth are too small or have a “gummy” smile. At The Modern Smile, Dr. Wong carefully removes the excess gum from the teeth, resulting in an even and toothy smile!

Traditional Braces

A cosmetic orthodontic appliance, braces are commonly utilized to align teeth over a period of years. At our office, we recommend braces to patients before suggesting other cosmetic dentistry procedures. This is because not braces produce not only aethetically pleasing smiles, but also work to correct any misalignments, which can impede speech and chewing in many individuals.

Invisalign

An alternative to the clunky traditional braces, Invisalign is a cosmetic orthodontic procedure that also fixes the smile. However, the downside to Invisalign is that it is significantly more expensive.
